Sarah Lord, APRN
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Sarah Lord is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 2014 and a master’s degree of Nursing in 2018, also from the University of Tennessee.

Sarah has a unique background and diverse experiences in the area of nursing over the last 20+ years. She worked with patients of all ages, across the lifespan and in various settings including long-term care facilities, inpatient medical-surgical units, a pediatric office, Women’s health, labor & delivery and home health care.

Through her varied nursing experiences and by working with patients of all ages, stages of life, and in different settings and environments, she developed a passion to not only care for each patient’s physical health, but also their mental health. She believes that mental health is often overlooked, and undervalued, which can result in poor physical health and an inability to reach full potential for quality of life. She believes that it is important to care for the mental health, physical health and spiritual health of every individual.

Sarah joined our office in November 2020. Her collaborating physician is John Kupfer, MD. She loves what she gets to do every day and tries her best to make everyone feel comfortable, cared for and listened to.

Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She is a Christian and is active with her church, New Beginnings Baptist church, where she is a member of their worship and praise team and her husband is an associate pastor.
